Sedona Series

     After a family trip to Sedona with a side trip to The Grand Canyon and a bunch of photographs I embarked on a years exploration of those moments that touched my heart. Sedona is one of those magical places that almost every artist has been inspired to paint....the beauty, the light, the color, the largeness are breath taking. My inspiration came from the dwellings of those who lived amongst this beauty and vastness of the Sedona Plateaus.

     Those places that call me to contemplate the who, the why and the how... those "cracks", those little fissures in the sides of the dwellings seemed to hold many of the answers.  I found myself wanting to paint these and the inner journey of those who lived there many years ago.
